Event venue at Teurastamo
Flavour Studio is a 150 m² convertible event venue at Teurastamo in Helsinki, about 300 metres from Kalasatama metro station. Seated dinner for 80 guests, standing receptions for 100. Six cooking stations are movable and can be taken out entirely, so the same room works as a seminar, a cooking class and a party venue on the same day.
The room is built for doing, not just for looking at: six fully equipped cooking stations with induction hobs and steam ovens, a separate professional kitchen for preparation, and the option to curtain the kitchen out of sight for the event.
The AV setup is unusual for an event venue: eight speakers, two projectors and screens (1920×1080 and 1024×768), wireless microphones, centralised display control and direct XLR and 3.5 mm inputs for a DJ. A live band fits in the room.
Teurastamo is Helsinki’s food culture quarter. Kellohalli, B-Smokery and other operators are neighbours, so a full-day programme can be built within one block — no other cooking school in the city is located here.

Answers up front
How many guests fit in?
Eighty seated for dinner and one hundred standing. The fixed dining table seats 22 and the stations and additional tables seat 60.
Is the venue accessible?
We confirm the exact details of the entrance, toilets and working heights on request. Tell us in your enquiry if someone in the group has mobility, hearing or vision needs, and we plan the evening accordingly.
How do we get there?
Työpajankatu 2, 00580 Helsinki, at Teurastamo. About 300 metres from Kalasatama metro station, with parking on site.
Can we rent the venue without a programme?
Yes. The space is also rented as a plain event, meeting or filming location, with our own kitchen handling catering.
